Maggie Power
Administrative Assistant
Maggie is one of our administrative assistants, who is currently working towards completing a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the University of Prince Edward Island. She is interested in obtaining her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at Dalhousie University once her undergraduate studies are completed. Her goal to become an Occupational Therapist was inspired by clinicians she has worked with at Stratford OT and Counselling. Maggie has a passion for helping others and a special interest in physiological psychology- the connection between mind and body.
Maggie takes pride in her responsibility as an administrative assistant to connect clients with the clinician that best fits the support they are seeking. She thoroughly enjoys creating an atmosphere in which clients feel welcome and safe, whether they would like to chat or take some time to relax in the comfy chairs in our reception area. Working as an admin has helped her learn more about the mental health field and the importance of supporting every person's individual needs.
Maggie is someone who thrives on creativity, movement, and connection. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time in nature, training in competitive cheerleading, crafting pottery and handmade jewellery, exploring different kinds of music, and spending time with loved ones.
