
Clare Murphy
Occupational Therapist
Clare is a Registered Occupational Therapist who holds a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Toronto. She is committed to delivering client-centred, evidence-based care that supports individuals in engaging in meaningful activities and enhancing overall quality of life.
Clare’s clinical experience spans a range of practice areas, including mental health and addictions, community outreach, seniors’ mental health, and school-based pediatric services. She currently works as part of an outreach team supporting individuals experiencing mental health and substance use challenges, as well as a Seniors Mental Health Resource Team, where she supports older adults in maintaining independence, safety, and engagement in daily life. Clare also has experience working with children and youth in developing skills for participation in learning and everyday activities.
Her practice includes working with individuals experiencing functional decline, cognitive and emotional challenges, and barriers to participation across home, school, and community environments.
Clare values building strong therapeutic relationships and working collaboratively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Her approach is grounded in empathy, respect, and a commitment to fostering inclusion.
Outside of her professional work, Clare enjoys running, travelling, and spending time with friends and family.
